Last updated: June 2025ShineDesk ("we", "our", or "the App") is a car care billing and management application developed by ConnectingPoint (360vision.in). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using ShineDesk, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following information that you enter into the app:
All customer, vehicle, and invoice data is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. Photos are stored in the app's private documents folder on your device.
Business configuration (company name, contact details, UPI ID) is optionally synced to our secure server to enable multi-device access for authorised staff. Invoice and customer data is not uploaded to our servers.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with any third parties.
WhatsApp messages are sent directly from your device — we do not relay or store those messages.
PDF files you share are generated on your device and shared via your chosen app — we do not receive copies.
The app requests the following permissions:
Photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
All data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or manually delete records. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
Business configuration data synced to our server is retained while your account is active and can be deleted upon request.
Access to the app is protected by a username and password. Staff accounts are managed by your business administrator.
We use HTTPS for all server communications. Local data is stored in the app's private storage which is not accessible to other apps.
ShineDesk is a business application intended for use by adults operating or working in automotive service businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
