1. Introduction

ShineDesk ("we", "our", or "the App") is a car care billing and management application developed by ConnectingPoint (360vision.in). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using ShineDesk, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information that you enter into the app:

• Customer Information: Name, mobile number, address
• Vehicle Information: Vehicle type, registration number, model
• Transaction Data: Service details, invoice amounts, payment records
• Business Information: Company name, address, GST number, UPI ID, Google Review link, email address
• Vehicle Photos: Before and after service photos captured through the app camera
• Appointment Records: Scheduled service dates and notes

3. How We Store Your Data

All customer, vehicle, and invoice data is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. Photos are stored in the app's private documents folder on your device.

Business configuration (company name, contact details, UPI ID) is optionally synced to our secure server to enable multi-device access for authorised staff. Invoice and customer data is not uploaded to our servers.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To generate invoices and billing records for your business
• To maintain customer and vehicle service history
• To send invoice summaries via WhatsApp (initiated by you)
• To display business information on printed invoices and PDFs
• To generate reports on services and revenue

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with any third parties.

WhatsApp messages are sent directly from your device — we do not relay or store those messages.

PDF files you share are generated on your device and shared via your chosen app — we do not receive copies.

6. Camera and Storage Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Camera: To take before/after service photos and scan item barcodes
• Internet: To sync business settings with our server and for staff authentication

Photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

7. Data Retention

All data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or manually delete records. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

Business configuration data synced to our server is retained while your account is active and can be deleted upon request.

8. Security

Access to the app is protected by a username and password. Staff accounts are managed by your business administrator.

We use HTTPS for all server communications. Local data is stored in the app's private storage which is not accessible to other apps.

9. Children's Privacy

ShineDesk is a business application intended for use by adults operating or working in automotive service businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
